大家下午好！
首先感谢各位在百忙之中前来我校参加孩子的家长会，这是家长们对我们工作的大力支持，更是对孩子学习、成长的一次关爱。我是九年级二班的英语课任教师，在这里，我代表孩子们以及九年级二班的各任课教师向你们致以热烈的欢迎和崇高的敬意！
九年级是初中阶段学生学习的一个重要转折点，并且新添了化学这门学科，学生的成绩分化相对于七八年级也进一步加大。可以说九年级这一年将基本决定一个学生在学习、升学方面的前途命运。九年级的每一位教师也都深知责任重大，都在千方百计把教育学生的工作做好，力争在这一年里能使学生的成绩有更大的进步。
今天我谈话的主题，一是和家长们谈谈我们班学生平时的英语学习情况。二是我代表九年级二班各任课教师和家长们探讨今后学生的教育问题，特别是毕业班的学生应当注意的一些问题，给大家一些建议。
从期中考试的成绩和平时的表现来看，学生大部分都表现不错，跟平时相差不大，发挥较正常，个别学生进步很明显，当然在大部分同学进步的同时，有少数同学除了英语学习的兴趣还需提高外，主要的原因就在于不肯在英语的读记上下功夫，说简单一点就是还有些偷懒的思想，对自己的学习很不够负责。再就是有些学生学习自觉性还存在一些问题。认为自己的成绩不理想，反正也学不好了，因此就缺乏动力，没有时间紧迫感，甚至自暴自弃，从而上课就不专心听讲，作业马虎甚至抄袭。自觉学习是很重要的，因为只有这样才能进步的更快。部分同学上课有小动作、交头接耳的不良习惯，还有就是上课走神，听课的效果不好，对学习影响极大。课堂是学习的主阵地，不把握好，就没有进步的可能。如果学生注意力不集中，不但影响自己还影响到老师的情绪，甚至打断老师的讲课。最突出的问题就是有些学生偏科严重，五门课当中有两门甚至三门比较优秀，剩下的一到两门功课差距很大，尤其是英语这门学科更需要引起足够的重视，同时也希望各位家长能给予配合教育。
基于以上情况，在这里，我向各位家长提几点建议，请家长结合自己子女的情况进行有针对性地教育。
第一，树立正确的观念，认真监控孩子的行为。很多家长并不十分关注孩子学习习惯的培养，不关注孩子完成家庭作业的情况。特别是一些隔辈的爷爷奶奶，对孩子的关注只停留在“吃饱穿暖，高高兴兴”这一初级阶段，对其他问题不闻不问。另外，很多年轻的父母或忙于工作，或专注于兴趣爱好，有的甚至存在“孩子交给学校和老师，我们不用管了”的错误思想，对孩子“大撒把”。例如，每周的家庭作业我要求家长签字，但是总有一部分学生的作业没签字，试问，家长如此，孩子的家庭作业怎么能按时保质地完成呢？家长所付出的一切，不都是为了孩子吗？如果孩子不上进，甚至“败家”，那您的一切努力只能付之东流。所以，家长们千万要摒弃错误的观念，不能“心慈手软”，要注意监督孩子，注意与学校配合，共同培养学生完成作业的.好习惯。
第二，要对自己的子女提出要求，并督促其进步。老师的要求是基于全班的，面对的是全班同学，而你的要求是针对你的子女一个人的。虽然说“一日为师终身为父”，这其实是从对老师的尊敬角度说的，有缘教育你的子女，是我们的荣幸，但我们最多只能给予三年的教育，而你却是子女的终身老师，你的要求对子女是长期的，有人说，父母的心有多高，他的孩子就能飞得多高。虽然说得有些片面，但也不乏有些道理。没有对子女提出要求的家长是个最不懂得使用家长权利的家长，换言之，也是一个不负责任的家长。在初中阶段，正是孩子不断成长开始懂事的阶段，这个时期的家长要求对子女的促进作用会更大。
第三，关注孩子的心理变化。孩子虽然大部分时间在学校里，但不是说你就没有可以关注孩子的可能了。其实，这恰恰说明，在周末回家的时候，你要多跟孩子交流。各位家长请你仔细回想一下，孩子周末回家的时候，你除了要求他及时完成作业之外，还跟孩子仔细的或心平气和的交谈过没有，如果没有的话，就是没有深入了解孩子，这种做法是不对的，因为对孩子的成长及其不利。
第四，多跟老师做交流。家长把子女送到我们这里来以后，大多自己忙于工作无暇顾及孩子的其他方面，这点我们理解。可是教育孩子单由学校老师承担，不说老师承担得了还是承担不了，其实这样的教育是完全有缺陷的。没有家长和家庭参与的教育是不能教育好孩子的。只有家庭和学校甚至社会的共同参与，才能有较好的教育成效。我们可能不大了解你们家里的状况，做学生的思想工作的时候就没有针对性，你们可能不大了解学校里的教育以及孩子在校的情况，教育孩子也就没有针对性。老师不可能经常跟全班的家长进行联系，只有家长在适当的时间打电话或者到学校里跟老师作交流，才能及时了解孩子的在校各方面的表现。
但令人遗憾的是，我们班的家长在这一点上做得不够。开学到现在，能跟我们老师进行主动联系的家长不多，这其实已经影响了我们孩子的学习成长。鉴于我的这些分析，你还会对你孩子的学习成长漠不关心吗？你还会让孩子坐吃山空吗？请大家在会后好好思考。我的讲话到此为止，会后家长朋友们如果需要详细了解你的孩子的英语方面的情况，可以来找我。

首先介绍一下教材，英语教材相衔接的，如果你以前的英语没有学好，那相对来说，你现在学得比较累;同样地，如果你现在不学好英语，那将来的英语学习也是不难想象的。因为现在小学英语，如果有心的家长仔细看的话，会发现小学英语的词汇量与语法是无法想象的。所以我们只有现在打好良好的基础，才不会导致英语越学越难在、越学越差。 学生们都是在三年级时同一起跑线上起跑的，经过1年多学习，学生与学生之间已经拉开了差距。一些好的学生学习兴趣浓，学习劲头足，课堂上积极思维，踊跃发言，课后及时巩固，形成了良性循环的.好势头。他们的学习习惯好，在听、说、读、写方面都能齐头并进，我为他们感到欣慰。可也有一些学生，平时学习马虎，基础不扎实，功亏一篑，导致他们现在课上听讲出现困难，用他们自己的话说：“李老师上课，我听不懂。”听不懂，还不努力，书面作业拖拉不交，口头作业根本不完成，如此一来，学习自然成了件头痛事，麻烦事。其实，大部分的学生还是处于中间层次，老师所教的，所布置的作业能够基本完成，但学习的效率又因人而异，存在着个体差别。尽管他们平时不需要老师操太多的心，费太大的力，但是说起各方面的表现，又总有一丝遗憾，我们总希望他们能够再上一个台阶。
怎样帮助孩子学好英语呢?我们老师自然是最直接的知识传授者，有着不可推卸的责任。在此，我们只是真诚地呼吁我们的家长配合学校，配合老师，靠我们共同的努力来帮助孩子学好英语。用一句时髦的话说：我们要和孩子共同成长。
重视良好的学习习惯的培养
(1)让孩子多听录音 在少儿英语教学中，首先是加强听力训练和说话训练，然后才是读写能力的培养。听说能力差，用英语进行交际的能力差，为此，家长一定要配合学校来要求孩子，要创造条件让孩子多听，多听纯正的录音，听几遍、听清楚了以后，跟着说。比如前年的听力占35分，去年就已经占40分了。
(2)让孩子大声说英语 家长要每天留出20分钟左右时间让孩子读读英语，不管当天有无英语课。我们要鼓励孩子大声地朗读、对话、问答，大声说，不害羞，这样有利于清楚地表达自己，也有利于他人纠正自己的错误。
因此，请大家在家里督促孩子保质保量地完成英语作业，该读的读、该说的说、该写的写、该记的记，及时巩固，养成良好的习惯。父母亲的良好榜样起着很大作用。孩子一般还没有明确的学习目的，这时，父母亲对学习的态度，特别是行为，会极大地影响孩子。千万不能纵容自己的孩子第一次说：英语好难，我默不出来;就任由他去。你让你的孩子知道：今天，你花大时间去养成好习惯，明天，你就可以更好。今天，你偷懒了一会，你明天的作业就会更多。累积下来，你就是欠债最多的人。
孩子是每个家庭的重心和希望，有一位家长说过：“要把培养孩子当作自己的事业来做。”是啊，只要你多投入一点，相信你的孩子会给予你更多的回报!
