Speak without Fear
The biggest problem most people face in learning a new language is their own fear. They worry that they won’t say things correctly or that they will look stupid so they don’t talk at all. Don’t do this. The fastest way to learn anything is to do it – again and again until you get it right. Like anything, learning English requires practice. Don’t let a little fear stop you from getting what you want.
Use all of your Resources
Even if you study English at a language school it doesn’t mean you can’t learn outside of class. Using as many different sources, methods and tools as possible, will allow you to learn faster. There are many different ways you can improve your English, so don’t limit yourself to only one or two. The internet is a fantastic resource for virtually anything, but for the language learner it's perfect.
Surround Yourself with English
The absolute best way to learn English is to surround yourself with it. Take notes in English, put English books around your room, listen to English language radio broadcasts, watch English news, movies and television. Speak English with your friends whenever you can. The more English material that you have around you, the faster you will learn and the more likely it is that you will begin “thinking in English.” .
Listen to Native Speakers as Much as Possible
There are some good English teachers that have had to learn English as a second language before they could teach it. However, there are several reasons why many of the best schools prefer to hire native English speakers. One of the reasons is that native speakers have a natural flow to their speech that students of English should try to imitate. The closer ESL / EFL students can get to this rhythm or flow, the more convincing and comfortable they will become.
Watch English Films and Television

1、单词
单词是英语中特别重要的一部分。如果一个句子里有几个单词不认识，那就不能正确地理解这个句子的意思。我每天都背单词，扩充我的词汇量，这样在考试中就不会为单词不理解而苦恼了。
2、练习
为了在考试中做题得心应手，挥洒自如，在家中做一些练习题是必不可少的。我在家里一般做一些阅读理解、听力等的练习题。原来我做这些题都需要许多时间，现在每次做这些练习题只需要较少的`时间就行了。这次期末考试我也从中尝到了甜头。
3、语法
写英语作文最离不开的就是语法了。单词通过正确的语法连接起来就是句子。如果离开了语法，写出来的作文就是中式英语。所以说语法也是很重要的。让我们掌握好语法，说标准的英语。
4、听读和背诵
就像我们学习语文一样，多听、多读、多背诵，语文才能学好，学英语也是一样。多听，可以锻炼我们的听力和反应能力;多读，不仅学习了英语也开阔了我们的视野;多背诵，让我们出口成章。
只要掌握好这几项，我想英语就是你的囊中之物了。

大家好！
今天我要演讲的是我对于英语的学习方法和态度，不需要花太多的时间，只要能够理解就可以了。
我认为，学习英语的方法其实很简单，那些辅导材料只不过就是巩固知识。而我们在巩固知识前，就得学会学习英语。兴趣，记忆力和自信就是我的秘诀。
第一步：兴趣。
兴趣使然，如果你把学英语当成是一种娱乐，一种使你兴趣盎然的娱乐方式。我把英语当做是一种荣耀，一种享受，也把这种荣耀和享受化为自己的`优势，弥补其他学科的缺憾。但是，这只是我的方式，也有的人其他方面很优秀。或许，不是学习上的，却也是一种优势。就比如，很多人喜欢玩电脑，就可以把学英语当成在玩电脑，每一次的检测都是打电脑的一关，把自己当成闯关的人，学习的过程，考试是终点，老师就是最后的评委。
第二步，记忆力：
记忆力的好也可以帮助学习，但是死记硬背的方式实在是套古老了，也太死板了，再好的兴趣也会被消磨光。所以，可以用一种节省时间，增加兴趣，享受时间的方法。在老师留作业，抄单词或句子的时候，先抄一遍，再根据脑袋里"肯定"的答案在接着继续默写，这样就达到了节省时间着点了。还有在背课文的时候，有些同学们后觉得这些太多了，太难了，简直就是在谋财害命，但老师就是硬要我们被下来，太痛苦了！那么，在这个时候，你可以把被课文当做是在背诗，记歌词，背诗背着背着就顺了，记歌词记着记着就好像是自己在听喜爱的音乐一般，这也有了增加兴趣，享受时间和节省时间了。
第三步，自信：
不论是丘吉尔的"好运"还是海伦`凯特的身体残缺，贝多芬的老年失聪，他们都凭借着自己的努力而成功。当然，在他们最努力的时候才是他们最自信的时候。因为他们都相信自己，才有努力的动力。而我们不论是学英语还是其他的什么科目，相信了自己，才有成功耀眼的那一刻！

大家早上好，我是来自高二（1）班的。今天由我为大家分享一下英语学习方法。在我看来英语学习少不了以下几项关键词：热爱，积累，运用。
“兴趣是最好的老师”；这句话不知道听了多少遍，但确实也是值得一次又一次强调的道理。也许有同学质疑：“我英语又不好，你让我怎么热爱呢？”，诚然，当你在一门学科上屡屡受挫，你难免会有一种我不擅长这门学科的错觉，就对这门学科越发没了兴趣，投入的热情也随之减少，于是在下一次考试中难免又惨遭厄运。于是你对这门学科的热爱在消极的恶性循环中消逝到苟延残喘。但请回忆起，当你第一次接触到英语这门学科时，当你第一次学会说：“I a fine，thankyou。 and you？I a fine，too”时，好奇与欣喜洋溢起整个幼嫩的心，热爱从那个时候起油然而生。因此不要怀疑你对英语的热爱，请勿忘初心。你只需给自己一个重拾热爱的机会，给自己一个热情奋斗的机会，给自己一个相信自己能学好英语的信念，结果一定是美好的。
当有了热爱作为前进的`动力，积累便是铺设起学习长路的一块块地砖。不论学哪一门学科，积累都是必不可少的过程，“故不积跬步，无以至千里；不积小流，无以成江海。”，在英语学习的漫漫长路上，积累的必要性更是不容小觑。我认为的积累，不仅仅是抱着一本厚厚的词汇书从A到Z的埋头苦背，而是一个渗透在生活中的事情。可能很多同学都听说过跟美剧、电影学英语的办法，但在学业如此紧张的高中生活中，这种方法显得有些站着说话不腰疼。所以积累的过程可以就从等车时公交站台广告牌的标语，上学放学车上电台里的英文歌，小心地滑的警示牌里，用发现的眼光汲取一点一点零碎的知识，不断铸就属于自己的知识网架。请不要自以为是地嘲笑那些在路上驻足在一个单词前的人们，不要嘲笑食堂排队时试图翻译出食堂菜名的人们，不要嘲笑努力纠正标语翻译错误的人们，积累就是从此刻拉开了你们的距离。；

英语，作为一门150分的科目，其重要性不言而喻。学不好，会严重拖你后腿；学好了，便成了你提高总分的一大助力。在这里，我想分享一些个人的经验。
首先，学英语一定要注重单词的积累。《老子》上说：“合抱之木，生于毫末；百丈之台，起于垒土；千里之行，始于足下。”同样，英语的突破要基于单词的积累。我们可以充分利用早读课的时间大声地背诵单词，在脑海中留下初次印象，再通过做题不断地巩固，如果光靠读，记不下单词，还可以回到课本中记忆，结合语境，加深理解。对于练习、考试中常见常错的单词，一定要做好积累，并时常回顾，从而在下次训练中有所提升。
其次，做好课前预习，用好限时训练。学校强调“不预习，不上课；不复习，不作业。”因此，我们课前应提早记忆一遍语言点，对于不懂或者补充的语言点，课上要做好记录，训练时，要认真对待每一份卷子，寻找快速进入状态的'方法。
对于基础较为薄弱的同学，我个人不太建议去刷类似45套的套题，因为它们的综合度较高，对于底子薄的同学，刷一套除去听力和写作的卷子，可能需要一个半小时甚至更多，不仅耗费大量的时间，还影响了其余科目的学习安排。也许有的同学会把一套卷子分成几部分完成，但可能你每次停下的时候，就是你进入状态的时候，这种分散式的训练，并不利于题感的培养，这就降低了训练的效果，建议同学们跟着老师的节奏，每天进行题型集中的训练。
至于给学霸们的建议，在此我也不敢妄言，在此，我只想把海赛的一句名言送给大家，与大家共勉，“人生是一匹马，轻快而健壮的马。人，要像骑手那样大胆而细心地驾驭它。”

很荣幸今天能站在这里跟大家交流一下英语学习经验。直接进入正题吧。现在既然大家坐在这里，说明大家还是对大学阶段的英语学习有一定规划的，至少是有一些想法要提高自己的英语水平吧。我去年这个时候，基本上什么都不知道，对英语怎么继续学习也比较茫然，不知道你们现在有没有这个感觉。
我是分在五班，班里的同学一般英语都很强。基础英语课还行，视听说说课曾让我郁闷了很长时间，几乎每次上听说就很紧张。因为我们高中课上比较沉默，不爱发言，正好跟听老师说课，然后我们就奋笔疾书。我的口语发音还行，就是感觉英式思维不是很敏捷，总担心对话时答不上来，脑子一片空白怎么办。班上很多同学课上表现非常积极，有时给我压力很大。但是，压力归根结底还是要化为动力嘛，大家还是要强迫自己积极举手，不要怕在课堂上因为说错而丢脸，在学习面前是不需要面子一言的，更何况英语关系我们的前途啊，一定要在课上多说英语，并且不懂要不耻下问，这是最关键的。
口语方面只有多联系对话才会提高。当自己跟着老师说或者与同学用英语对话时间久了以后就会自然而然产生语感，这对你的基础英语提升也是有很大帮助的。还有说道口语还有一点，现在我们的新标准英语是配了MP3格式音频文件，英语发音非常纯正，因为口语跟写完全不同，我们需要跟着正确的读音进行复制，而新标准英语的这套MP3材料给我们提供了一个很好的平台，我们一定要每天跟着标准语音进行朗读，像我就会在背课文前先听1遍背诵段落之后熟悉了，再试着跟着MP3进行复制其语音的朗读，可能一开始跟不上他的口语速度，毕竟我们是中国人，发音与他们不同，所以我们可以在某些他读重音或者停顿或者是快速连读的地方做一些标记，再进行跟读，这样，多跟读几遍就会有显著效果，虽然不能完全模仿，但是你会明显体会到自己的口音开始改变，像标准的口语靠拢了。
俗话说，冰冻三尺非一日之寒，英语就很好的的印证了这句古话，只要我们勤加练习，一个学期应该就会有很大提高，政治上我们也说只有量的积累才有质的飞跃嘛!再说背课文，之前我们多次跟读对我们背课文也有很大帮助。当我们朗诵完5~6遍文章之后，我们对课文内容已经能比较熟悉了，此时我们取下耳机，进行一段一段地慢读，顾名思义，就是慢速阅读，因为之前口语速度过快，所以我们无法记住文章细节，因此我们需要慢读，放慢一些阅读速度，让我们大脑有充分记忆文章细节的反应并且记忆的时间，注意一定要是一段一段的慢读和背诵背诵，这样能记忆牢固，不易忘。我这些大概就是我的英语学习情况了。
最后我再提一些对英语学习的建议：第二，单词的积累。这是学习任何一门语言都是要做的`基本功。因为英语单词的数量之多，掌握一定的方法和技巧来记单词是十分必要的。第一，要有一本够用的词典。词典是最好的老师。这里说的词典不是电子词典。了词典还要学会用词典和养成查词典的习惯。第六，注重口语和听力练习，养成背诵和广泛阅读的习惯。口语和听力是我们学习弱项。要解决它们，首先是要重视口语课和听力课;其次是在课后进行大量的口语和听力练习。第四，预习和复习。学习好外语预习和复习一个都不能少。通常需要我们认真预习的课程有精读课，泛读课，作文课。口语课也需要在上课前进行充分的准备。
