初中英语读书笔记课外活动是教学的一种辅助组织形式，是课堂教学的集成和深入。因此，有效的布置这类作业，有助于教学质量的提高。根据课外活动及英语学科的特点，布置此类作业有以下几种形式。
(1) 英语歌曲
唱歌能陶冶人的情操，优美的旋律能带给人欢乐，绝大数学生喜欢唱歌。经典的英文老歌“edelweiss”，家喻户晓的影视名曲“my heart will go on”无不令人陶醉，而最受学生欢迎的要数流行歌曲了，s.h.e， f4一首首好听的英语歌曲，使他们感觉新鲜、刺激。因此，学生常常使积极主动地去听去学，自己自觉地练。所以布置这样的作业时要允许学生自由选择，选择了自己感兴趣的英文歌曲，他们便经常唱，反复唱。这样，他们能在体验音乐美感的同时，不自觉地复习或学习一些单词、句型，从而提高了他们的记忆能力和英语学习的兴趣。为了提高学生学习英语的积极性，我们可举办英文歌曲演唱会，让学生登台演出，体验成功的喜悦，参与的乐趣。
(2)英语竞赛
每个人都有自己的长处，面向全体学生，充分发挥不同学生的长处组织各种竞赛，这又是课外活动型作业的一种形式。组织此项活动可以以年级为单位，形式有英语书法比赛、听力比赛、演讲比赛、猜词比赛、智力问答、脑筋急转弯等等。因此此类作业形式生动有趣，学生会以极大的热情积极准备，教师应组织评为认真评定，评出集体奖和个人奖，对学生的成绩予以表彰。此项活动可以发展学生的智力和个性，展现他们的才华。
(3) 英语角
为了给学生创造英语语言环境，我们还可以给学生布置这样的作业，即每周参加英语角活动。在学校文化氛围较浓厚的走廊花架处设立“英语角”的活动场所，在其入口的醒目位置竖立“welcome to our english conner”等标牌。这样的布置立刻使学生感受到一种说英语的氛围，给学生创立了一个仿真的口语交际与应用环境。有时侯还可以根据需要和条件邀请外籍教师来校参观与英语角的`活动。学生可以在英语角大声背诵课文中的小诗、绕口令、儿歌;或根据老师确定的主题小组交谈或是进行辩论赛。还可用英语与老师和同学自由地交流思想，交流学习。英语角的活动使学生在语言运用中不知不觉地获得了英语知识和技能，口语交际能力大大提高了。这种语言环境的营造可使学生体会到学英语有趣，学英语有用，英语容易学。
(4)听英语广播，看樱花雨电视节目
课本的知识再多也是有限的，而我们的周围英语无处不在，电视里有丰富多彩的英语节目，cctv channel 5的球赛转播，cctv channel 6 周二的原声影院，引人入胜的discovery， 与中学生同步的outlook， 还有收音机里的英语新闻，只要我们稍加布置和引导，这些英语就会展现在学生们的面前。因为学生感兴趣，所以这是一类不用监督也一定会出色完成的作业形式。
(5)英语表演
为了培养学生的综合素质，我们还可以布置英语表演型作业。可让学生自编、自演，也可以让学生把一些经典的课本剧搬上舞台，如学生们熟悉的童话剧《灰姑娘》《白雪公主》，还有著名作家的文学作品，《项链》《麦琪的礼物》等。学生在这项活动中自己设计台词、表演、动作、服装、道具、舞台背景、灯光等，使他们各方面的才华得到充分的展示。

What Gump has told me
Everyone should have a belief in his heart about life, beauty, and noble humanity. This is what Gump told me, who is a true man full of courage ,love, and sincerity in my mind.
Life is a box of chocolate and we can never know what it is inside before we open it. Just as Mrs Forrest put it, everyone has a destiny. As for Gump, he was thought to be a perfect fool since he was young. While, after watching the movie, I can not help but admire this young guy because of his braveness to deal with obstacles, his consistence to love and his devotion to friendship. Stupid he might seem to be, Gump gave a meaningful lesson to us who are what called more intelligent people.
Born as a boy with natural defects, Gump eventually accomplished plenty of achievements which we ordinary people can not approach. With a plain thought and natural optimism, Gump just did what he was good at, running as fast as he could, struggling toughly against destiny with all the facilities he had been given. To our surprise, he eventually graduated from college, got a military medal, became one of the best pingpong players around America and even owned a huge shrimp company. Astonishing and unbelievable as it was, those miracles did happen sometimes. Who says that great success only belongs to those
with super talents? In my opinion, those who endeavor to make their best also deserve applause and respect. Let us run towards the new sun and embrace everyday with hope and we can make a difference.
To tell the truth, I can not help but shed tears several times when I watch the moving scene where Gump rushed into dangerous forest again and again to save his battle companions. What great selfless devotion Gump showed us! Unfortunately, Bubble, one of the best friends of Gump died in the battle field, which left a great grief to Gum. While, after retiring from military service, Gum kept his promise and purchased a big shrimp ship in order to finish Bubble’ dream. Meanwhile, he also provided financial support to Bubble’ family. First Lieutenant Dan, a staunch soldier, who lost his two legs in Viet Nam , abandoned himself in the abyss of despair. Nevertheless, Gump still supported him and finally help him make peace with God. Gump told us that genuine friendship needs nothing but love and sincerity.
Another enlightenment Gum brought me is about the definition of true love .As a matter of fact, genuine love has little things to do with appearance, wealth or backgrounds but is concerned with tolerance, consistence and devotion just as what Gum behaved. Like carrots and peas, Gum and Jenny sit in the big banyan tree seeing the stars rising, took a walk at sunset, enjoyed the gorgeous scenery beside the lake .As we can see, Jenny did mean a lot to Gump and his selfless devotion to
Jenny is the most touching one I have ever seen which is the real romantic and permanent love, forming a sharp contrast to some superficial young people those days who care so much about substance and appearance.

一、做一个充满激情的英语教师，首先要热爱生活、热爱英语、热爱学生，在自己的心中时常蓄积着犹如岩浆般的滚烫的情，让每一个学生心底里沉淀的情发酵、释放。在平时的交流中，老师要让学生感觉到我们同他们的关系十分重要。老师也许是喜欢学生的，但可能所作所为却恰恰相反，如推迟上下课，不重视学生的时间;提供的材料不是太简单就是太难，不能针对学生的实际能力;不提供相互交往或讨论的机会，无视学生的想法;不考虑学生的安排、问题或担忧，表现出对学生漠不关心;不按时上班或抽空去看学生，不尊重学生的需求，尤其是他们课外的个人需求;无节制的幽默或使用嘲讽的语句等。看不起学生或是使他们难为情可能使学生产生强烈的痛苦，摧毁自信，酝酿敌视。当然我们热爱学生，就要在我们的行为中清清楚楚地表露出来;热爱学生包括对他们的需求和兴趣爱好的欣赏。这密切关系到我们了解学生如何学和他们需要什么帮助，以便去鼓励这种学习，也包括我们将其当作学习者直接或间接的鼓励。在课堂上就反映在我们自发的行为和对班上成员持续不断的敏感程度之中。
二、要有幽默感。《英语课程标准》中指出:“学生只有对自己、对英语及其文化、对英语学习有积极的情感，才能保持英语学习的动力并取得成绩。消极的情感不仅会影响英语学习的效果，而且会影响学生的长远发展。因此，在英语教学中教师应该自始至终关注学生的情感，努力营造宽松、民主、和谐的教学氛围。戏剧大师莎士比亚也曾说:“幽默是风趣和智慧的展现。”“幽默”一词是英文humor的译音，它是一种个人独特的气质，它是一种高超的艺术，有声的或者是无声的。也有人说，幽默既是一种语言艺术，又是一种行为特征。从心理学上讲，人们大都喜欢幽默的故事，欣赏富有幽默感的人。因此，一位英语教师有一份幽默，在英语教学中恰当运用幽默，能激发学生的情感，引起他们的喜悦和欢乐，他们获得精神上的享受和快感，从而激发学生的学习兴趣和学习主动性，帮助学生加深对知识的理解和记忆，提高课堂教学效率。这样教师的教学就有了个性魅力和智慧的光彩，就能把一些抽象的、复杂的教学内容，以一种生动而饶有兴味的形式表现出来，强烈地吸引学生的注意力，降低教学难度，进而达到良好的教学效果。
三、营造“激趣→创景→启发→探求→交际”的教学互动过程。传统的英语课堂教学，只重视英语知识的机械输入和积累，而忽视学生学习英语过程的启发，特别是英语语言的实践活动等过程，造成学生被动学习，课堂气氛缺乏活力和生机，师生之间缺少情感交流，无有效互动。而新课改理论指导下的课堂教学则要求:教师在组织课堂教学中，不仅要有效灵活地传授知识和技能，同时，还要激活课堂气氛，调节学生学习兴趣，师生之间要进行情感交流，教学互动。
四、教学要有智慧，把握好英语课堂教学抒发激情的最佳时机，使英语课堂教学波澜迭起，收获多多。高超的教育教学技巧，驾轻就熟，不落窠臼，让英语课堂教学永远保持一种清新的感觉，让学生丝毫觉察不到教师人为的痕迹。我们必须深信自己的知识。英语教学并非单纯机械的单词和语法知识积累，句型的操练和课文的讲解，而是开启学生获取知识和能力的智慧天窗。在组织教学中，教师要根据学生的心理欲望，释放出内心的激情，让他们独立地、创造性地发现问题，分析问题，解决问题，主动积极地参与英语课堂教学，轻松愉快地学习。而这一切是否能够顺利做到，和老师运用自身的热情来调动学生是有很大关系的。当然，只有激情也不行，还要有宽容、严谨、沉稳等素质，总而言之，一个好的教师应该是:宽容中有严谨，严谨中有幽默，幽默中有沉稳，沉稳中有激情。激情是火，可以点燃学生的求知欲望;激情是露，可以滋润学生干渴的心田;激情如风，可以吹皱学生平静的心湖;激情如雷，可以震醒学生懵懂的迷梦。让我们激情飞扬、缔造辉煌!当我们走进英语课堂，我们的生命将充满激情;当学生走出英语课堂，他们的人生将更加辉煌!!!

This report is written to Ms Millie of Class Four. Oliver Twist is written by the Charles dickens. It is made up by 232 pages which are published by Guangming Daily Press. This masterpiece is the sixth edition since 2001. I chose it as the first reading novel this semester is just because one of my best friends said she was totally touched by plot. What’s more, Oliver Twist is the first English novel published in the United States.
Oliver Twist, our main character, was born into a life of poverty and misfortune since his mother’s death and his father’s unexplained absence.
After many roundabout ways, Oliver ran away from London and finally restored to a life of happiness and health. As soon as Oliver Twist arrived in London, he was cheated by a bang of thieves whose leader is Fagin. They set him up, but Oliver was proved innocent and was served in Mr. Brownlow’s where Oliver lived freely for some months. It’s a book that depicting the old society in justified shoes.
Dickens gives a truthful presentation of the sufferings of the poor and oppressed and make a bitter and complexed exposure of the terrible conditions, Charles Dickens makes him the most popular English novelist of the Victorian era at that time.
After reading this masterpiece, I’m deeply impressed that how an orphan can still remain kind-hearted after suffering that much, such as hunger, thirst, abuse and so forth.
Those charitable figures that Dickens created in the novel, such as Mrs. Maylie, are really what need in modern life. They should love and care to others, just as the gentle rain from the sky fell upon the earth, which was carved into my heart deeply, Goodness to human is what water to fish. So, my gracious peers, as the famous saying goes, “The fragrance always stays in hard that gives the rose, I sincerely urge that we can reach out our hands when someone is in need. I like the book as before, but frankly speaking, I was wondering some details should be more explicit. All in all, what I gain the most important is being kind and not giving up is the secret of surviving. I will pass on this novel to my gracious classmates since it deserves it.

It seems to me that many readers’ English reading experience starts with Jane Eyer. I am of no exception. As we refer to the movie “Jane Eyer”, it is not surprising to find some differences because of its being filmized and retold in a new way, but the spirit of the novel remains----to be an independent person, both physically and mentally.
Jane Eyer was a born resister, whose parents went off when she was very young, and her aunt，the only relative she had，treated her as badly as a ragtag. Since Jane’s education in Lomon person, just the same as any other girl around. The suffers from being humiliated and devastated teach Jane to be persevering and prize dignity over anything else.As a reward of revolting the ruthless oppression, Jane got a chance to be a tutor in Thornfield Garden. Jane expected to change the life from then on, but fate had decided otherwise: After Jane and Rochester fell in love with each other and got down to get marry, she unfortunately came to know in fact Rochester had got a legal wife, who seemed to be the shadow following
Rochester and led to his moodiness all the time ----Rochester was also a despairing person in need of salvation. Jane did want to give him a hand, however, she made up her mind to leave, because she didn’t want to betray her own principles, because she was Jane Eyer. The film has finally got a symbolist end: Jane inherited a large number of legacies and finally returned. After finding Rochester’s misfortune brought by his original mad wife, Jane chose to stay with him forever.
I don’t know what others feel, but frankly speaking, I would rather regard the section that Jane began her teaching job in Thornfield as the film’s end----especially when I heard Jane’s words “Never in my life have I been awaken so happily.” For one thing, this ideal and brand-new beginning of life was what Jane had been imagining for long as a suffering person; for another, this should be what the audiences with my views hoped her to get. But the professional judgment of producing films reminded me to wait for a totally different result: There must be something wrong coming with the excellence----perhaps not only should another section be added to eich the story, but also we may see from the next transition of Jane’s life that “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you would get.” (By Forrest Gump’s mother, in the film “Forrest Gump”)
What’s more, this film didn’t end when Jane left Thornfield. For Jane Eyer herself, there should always be somewhere to realize her great ideal of being independent considering her fortitude, but for Rochester, how he can get salvation?
The film gives the answer tentatively: Jane eventually got back to Rochester. In fact, when Jane
met Rochester for the first time, she scared his horse and made his heel strained, to a certain extent, which meant Rochester would get retrieval because of Jane. We can consider Rochester’s experiences as that of religion meaning. The fire by his frantic wife was the punishment for the cynicism early in his life. After it, Rochester got the mercy of the God and the love of the woman whom he loved. Here we can say: human nature and divinity get united perfectly in order to let such a story accord with the requirements of both two sides. The value of this film may be due to its efforts to explore a new way for the development of humanism under the faith of religion.
Life is ceaselessly changing, but our living principles remain. Firmly persisting for the rights of being independent gives us enough confidence and courage, which is like the beacon over the capriccioso sea of life. In the world of the film, we have found the stories of ourselves, which makes us so concerned about the fate of the dramatis personae.
In this era of rapid social and technological change leading to increasing life complexity and psychological displacement, both physical and mental effects on us call for a balance. We are likely to find ourselves bogged down in the Sargasso Sea of information overload and living unconsciousness. It’s our spirit that makes the life meaningful.
Heart is the engine of body, brain is the resource of thought, and great films are the mirrors of life. In
dubitably, “Jane Eyer” is one of them.

Jane owns goodness for her lover, Rochester, who lost arms and eyes, and also for someone who had hurt her.
Jane owns pursuit for justice; it helps her to promote goodness on one side and check the badness on the other side.
Jane owns self-respect and clear situation on equality. Also her life experience is hardships, but she never underrates herself. She thinks everyone is the same. She has the right to gain happiness through hardworking.
Jane owns toughness, confidence and striving for life……
She is not beautiful and wealthy and very normal in conman’s mind. But in my opinion, the beauty on the face is not important than in the heart because the beauty of heart could live forever but not the beauty of face.
So, to me or to all girls in the world, we needn’t inferiority and complaint with ourselves if we don’t have beauty and wealth because the true happiness is not gained by the tow things. Actually, we should learn to be a person who is like Jane, how fearless woman.
